Author Events

Spring is an exciting time for authors to get out and meet readers.

I recently participated in an author event at our local library. It was great to meet new readers and other local authors.

It was fun to watch readers enter the room. Some were shy. Some were inquisitive. Some people came to see only one author. They came, they visited the author, and they left. One lady told me that she had no business attending the fair because she was packing to move. It made no sense to her, but she couldn’t help herself. Don’t you love that?

This week, I’m speaking to a group at a retirement community. I’ll have some swag to give people, and there will be a giveaway with items related to my stories.

And next week, I’ll be at the Suffolk, Virginia Authors Festival.
